We seek caring and open-minded individuals who can commit 100 hours per year to sharing their time and talents with us. Bilingual abilities are a plus! Student Programs

Volunteers have an array of options when it comes to how you want to make an impact. Our team works closely with you to determine what opportunity best matches NWH's needs with your skill set and preferences. Escort patients and family members to their destination within the facility
Gift Shop
Support patients in the Emergency Department
Visit patients throughout the hospital for friendly conversation
Family Together Program - adults with 12-15 year olds visit with patients for friendly conversation
Offer activities and books to patients or change the art on their walls
Provide tea and snacks to NWH team members
Play music in our lobby
Provide spiritual care to patients via prayer or conversation
Visit patients with your certified pet therapy dog
Veterans Visiting Veterans program
Join our Integrative Medicine team if certified in Reiki, meditation or yoga
